Are you looking to get hands-on professional experience while also learning more about who God made you to be? The Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Internship Program is just what you’re looking for!

Spend time partnering with a specific ministry or department where you’ll be mentored by leaders, immersed in the diverse church community, and play an important role in our overall operations. Each internship is uniquely designed to fit your giftings and interests, while cultivating your leadership skills and spiritual formation.

The heart and goal of Calvary Chapel and Calvary Christian Academy is to support you in confirming your professional God-given calling in life. As part of that process we have an Internship program for qualified individuals. An internship position is a temporary non-paid opportunity providing hands on training. Interested candidates will apply and applications are then reviewed on a rolling basis. After application review, qualifying and approved candidates will go through the normal interview process before the final approval with our ministry.

HISTORY

Ocean’s Edge was founded as a ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale in 2006 with the goal of raising up the next generation of ministry leaders, worship leaders, songwriters, artists, producers, and musicians. Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale was founded in 1985 by a handful of believers and has now grown to more than 17,000 people who worship across ten campuses throughout South Florida.

We believe that a relationship with Jesus changes everything.

The driving force of everything we do is to make disciples and to replicate that mission in our city and beyond. Ocean’s Edge Internships are an on-ramp for young leaders to get plugged into and equipped for ministry here at Calvary.

LOCATION

Ocean’s Edge is located in sunny South Florida on the main campus of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. South Florida is a tropical, beautiful, and culturally diverse area filled with opportunities for off-campus learning and fun. The pace here is fast, and there’s always something to do!
